Introduction

Overview

FlowMusic API v1 is a third-party experimental REST interface for Google Flow Music, formerly known as Producer AI and Riffusion. It uses Google’s Lyria music models to turn prompts, moods, or lyric ideas into fully produced songs with vocals, melody, and arrangement.

The API offers the Lyria 3.5 flagship model alongside Lyria 3 Pro, which remains the default for compatibility with existing integrations. A generation can return up to two alternative clips.

Key Features

  • Generate complete songs up to about three minutes, with longer results possible through extension.
  • Restyle existing music with covers and adjust lyrics without rebuilding the entire song.
  • Extend or replace song sections and apply audio effects.
  • Download finished audio as MP3, WAV, or M4A, as well as separated stems.
  • Connect as many as 50 Flow Music accounts to one useapi.net account.

API Workflow

Integrations can manage accounts, submit new music generations, edit songs, create lyrics, upload files, and retrieve completed jobs through REST endpoints. Job endpoints support status retrieval and cancellation, while dedicated download operations provide generated audio and stems.

Both creation and editing requests accept a model selection, allowing applications to choose between Lyria 3.5 and Lyria 3 Pro. Concurrency depends on the selected useapi.net plan.

Pricing

Each generation uses roughly 5 to 10 credits and produces one or two songs, calculated at 5 credits per song. Paid monthly plans start at $8 for 3,000 monthly credits, while annual billing lists a $6 monthly equivalent for the same allowance.

Higher tiers provide 10,000 or 30,000 monthly credits and increased concurrency. The free plan uses daily top-up credits, and audio and stem downloads do not consume credits.
