Overview
seodata.dev is a keyword data service designed for AI agents. It provides numerical search-demand evidence before an agent chooses a blog topic, landing-page keyword, market angle, or advertising target.
The service covers more than 50 countries and can be used through its HTTP API or MCP integration. Each keyword also has a browsable page showing its current data.
Key Features
- Returns monthly search volume, cost per click in US dollars, and a competition score from 0 to 1.
- Includes similar keywords and related queries with their own volumes and overlap scores.
- Accepts bulk requests of up to 25 keywords for one country per call.
- Uses one key and a consistent response shape across endpoints.
- Shares the same key and quota between MCP calls and the HTTP API.
How It Works
An agent can look up candidate terms before producing content or making a marketing recommendation. One lookup covers one keyword in one country, while each keyword in a bulk request counts separately; related keywords included in a result do not consume additional lookups.
The returned measurements help compare broad terms with more specific queries instead of relying on model estimates. Requests stop when a free allowance is exhausted and can resume after the reported reset time.
Use Cases
The data can support blog-topic selection, landing-page naming, market sizing, and ad-campaign planning. Commercial use is permitted in products, reports, content, and datasets.
Pricing
Anonymous access includes 20 lookups per day. A free account provides 50 lookups per day and 500 per month without requiring a payment card.
The Unlimited plan costs $4.99 per month and removes daily and monthly search-volume lookup caps while retaining the same API key. It is billed month to month and can be canceled at any time.
