Overview
OnPage.dev is an MCP server that brings SEO and AI visibility analysis into AI assistants including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and VS Code. It can scan a page, explain problems, prepare fixes, validate built HTML, confirm live changes, and compare results without requiring an OnPage.dev account.
The service is designed around an agent workflow rather than a standalone report. A reduced core tool set is also available for assistants that already load many MCP servers.
Key Features
- Checks titles, descriptions, headings, keywords, social previews, structured data, and search intent.
- Evaluates AI crawler access, llms.txt, question coverage, trust signals, and AI search readiness.
- Reads Core Web Vitals from real Chrome users and analyzes access logs for search and AI crawler behavior.
- Audits WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility concerns, ecommerce product markup, consent settings, and multilingual hreflang tags.
- Groups Search Console queries into topics and identifies competing pages, content gaps, and internal-link opportunities.
- Exports findings as structured action plans for collaboration and task-management tools.
Agent Workflow
An assistant can scan a page, request a fix pack, check the revised HTML before deployment, and compare the live page afterward. Fix packs can target WordPress fields or generate framework-aware changes for Next.js, Nuxt, SvelteKit, Astro, Angular, React, Vue, and plain HTML.
Additional tools can watch pages for regressions, notify IndexNow engines about changes, prioritize work using analytics or revenue data, and measure before-and-after impact against untouched pages. A GitHub Actions integration can scan built HTML on pull requests, comment with scores, and enforce a chosen minimum.
Usage and Limits
The MCP server can be configured as a custom connector in supported assistants or added to an editor's MCP settings. A Claude Code plugin supplements the server with SEO-check and AI-visibility commands that can inspect source, validate a build, and confirm the deployed result.
Free access requires no account and uses fair-use limits of 10 page scans and two site audits of up to 25 pages per minute, while real-browser checks share a daily budget. The service states that it stores scores and issue names for up to 30 days, but not page content.
Team Plan
An agency and team offering starts at $399 per month, or €359 per month in the EU. It adds higher limits, larger site audits, more browser checks, expanded monitoring, branded reports, a team-specific key, and priority email support.
