Overview
Nagare is a to-do app designed around the idea that tasks and calendar events are both commitments. It places them in a single ordered list, allowing a day to be planned as a sequence without forcing every item into a fixed time slot.
This approach bridges the gap between a calendar and a conventional task list. A timed appointment can sit alongside an untimed study session in the order the user expects the day to unfold.
Key Features
- Timed and untimed commitments share one item type and can appear anywhere in the daily order.
- A restrained interface uses simple colors, shapes, and a small set of controls around the list.
- Times and checkboxes sit on the right so they do not distract from the written plan.
- Items in a priority project receive a subtle glow that brings important intentions back into focus.
- Plans and completed items form a record of what was intended, finished, and left undone.
Agent Context and Sync
Nagare syncs user data through iCloud. It also exposes planning context to an agent through MCP, including plans, completion history, and outstanding commitments.
The agent can use this context proactively to support a user's goals. Examples described for Nagare include noticing a week without social plans and suggesting opportunities to meet people, or checking in when planned workouts repeatedly remain unfinished.
Availability
Nagare is available for iPhone and Mac through the App Store. Its shared planning model is intended to preserve the simplicity of a handwritten daily sheet while making commitments available across supported Apple devices.
