Overview
Hodios is an open prompt library by Hermes IDE for finding reusable prompts, personas, workflows, and rules for work and everyday life. Its catalog contains 2,570 entries organized into 23 domains and 137 categories, ranging from software engineering and product management to writing, education, health, travel, and meal planning.
The collection is published under CC0 1.0, allowing its materials to be copied, changed, and shipped. Entries are intended for coding agents as well as general assistants.

- Provides curated collections for related tasks such as code quality, assistant personas, step-by-step workflows, and job searches.
- Offers individual entries as well as complete domain downloads.
- Supports tools including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, Windsurf, Zed, ChatGPT, and claude.ai.
- Organizes resources by domain, category, collection, and material type.
How to Use
Users can search the catalog, copy an individual item, select multiple entries for a pack, or download an entire domain. Download formats include Agent Skills folders, separate Markdown files, and a combined Markdown paste pack.
The product management domain, for example, contains 81 entries across discovery, strategy, roadmapping, metrics, user feedback, and launches. It includes prompts, personas, and workflows, with workflow tracks designed to pause for approval between steps.
Use Cases
Hodios covers technical work such as implementation, security, debugging, testing, architecture, code review, and agent operations. It also supplies materials for content creation, research, design, career development, business strategy, data analysis, finance, home life, productivity, and creative arts.
The library can be used to give an assistant a specialized role, structure a multi-step task, or provide a ready-made prompt for a focused outcome. Product examples include defining MVP scope, designing validation experiments, building outcome roadmaps, analyzing feedback, and preparing launches.
Licensing and Access
The catalog is free and its entries are public domain under CC0 1.0. Domain bundles can be downloaded for agent environments or as portable Markdown, while product management materials can also be installed as a Claude Code plugin.
