Overview
Skills Hub is a cross-platform desktop application that provides one library for AI Agent Skills. Users can install a Skill once, organize it centrally, and synchronize it to the coding tools and projects they use.
The app is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Its setup does not require Node.js or npm.
Key Features
- Browse task-focused collections, search for individual Skills, or import from Git and local folders.
- Sync Skills to selected tools at a global or supported project scope.
- Add custom tool directories alongside the built-in destinations.
- Organize Skills with tags, enable or disable them, and update multiple selections while retaining saved settings.
- Manage installation, updates, and organization through a coding agent using the same library as the desktop app.
- Keep Skill files, descriptions, and tags aligned across devices through a GitHub, GitLab, or Gitee repository.
Tool Support
Skills Hub supports 48 AI coding tools, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenCode. The library interface shows tool synchronization status and provides tags and filters to help manage installed Skills.
Custom directories extend synchronization to tools that use other Skill locations. Users can also choose whether supported destinations receive Skills globally or within a project.
How to Use
After opening Skills Hub, users can add Skills from a collection, Git source, or local folder. They then select the required Skills, assign tags, choose target tools and scope, and confirm installation.
AI-based management can be enabled from the application settings. Once enabled, a coding agent can work with the shared Skill library to perform supported management tasks.
