Overview
OpenClaw Tool Call Viewer is a local web application for examining tool calls recorded in OpenClaw sessions. It presents the history in a browser-based interface intended to make navigation and inspection straightforward while keeping the workflow on the user’s computer.
The application runs with Node.js and supports Windows, macOS, and Linux. It is distributed under the MIT License.
Key Features
- Browses recorded session tool calls through a user-friendly interface.
- Shows detailed information for individual calls.
- Searches and filters call history using selected criteria.
- Tracks historical calls for clearer review.
- Runs locally across the major desktop operating systems.
How to Use
After obtaining and extracting the application files, the user opens a terminal in the extracted folder, installs the required packages, and starts the application. The interface is then accessed from a web browser through the local server.
Node.js is the stated prerequisite. The source describes the tool as lightweight and requiring no additional software beyond that runtime.
Troubleshooting
If startup fails, the Node.js installation can be checked from the terminal. Missing-package errors may be addressed by installing the packages again, while connection problems can result from another application already occupying the local server port.
Bug reports and usage questions are handled through the project’s GitHub Issues area. The project also accepts contributions through the standard fork, branch, commit, and pull-request workflow.
