Apps and Authentication
The Apps offering is designed for web applications rendered inside Civitai. Developers provide a ZIP package, after which the platform builds, deploys, and serves the app; this capability is currently in closed beta.
OAuth enables external applications to use Civitai account sign-in. Its scoped authorization model and refresh support provide the documented foundation for account-based integrations, while app-level spend caps apply to Buzz usage.
APIs, Agents, and Recipes
The Site API focuses on discovery and lookup across Civitai content, including models, images, creators, tags, model versions, and identifiers. The platform MCP extends interaction to browsing models and images as well as posting, commenting, and messaging.
Ready-to-run recipes demonstrate use cases including video generation, image generation, upscaling, transcription, and text-to-speech. A separate orchestration MCP makes media-generation workflows available to MCP-aware agents.
