Overview
AKA Security provides a Security Factory for AI-first organizations that need production security controls without waiting through a traditional hiring cycle. Senior security engineers work within a team’s existing channels, repositories, and review queue, while specialized agents help write and test controls.
The service is designed around environments where models, development harnesses, and AI tooling change frequently. Its focus is not only delivering controls, but also updating and retesting them as the underlying stack evolves.
Core Capabilities
- Maps the customer’s environment and scopes initial controls with a security lead.
- Specifies, writes, and tests controls within the team’s normal engineering workflow.
- Supports review, merging, and deployment into the customer’s environment.
- Tracks model and harness changes, then updates affected controls.
- Maintains audit evidence alongside ongoing security work.
How the Security Factory Works
The engagement begins by placing a senior security engineer inside the team. That engineer joins the existing review process and identifies the first controls to build.
Flightcrew agents then assist with implementation and testing, while the customer’s team retains its normal review and merge process. After deployment, the controls are revisited as models and development systems change.
Areas of Focus
AKA Security addresses security needs associated with shipping AI products and agents, broad use of coding agents, MCP and tool sprawl, and governance of data sent to AI tools. The service also covers building a security program for growth, supporting customer trust when selling to larger organizations, and protecting users from fraud.
Assurance and Tooling
AKA Security states that it is SOC 2 Type II audited and ISO 27001 certified, and that it participates in the Claude and OpenAI partner networks. It also publishes open-source tooling for inline prompt and tool-call checks, hardened Claude Code baselines, and reusable development skills across multiple agent harnesses.
